As the title will denote, I have been very busy these past few weeks for blogging and I’m sorry to those who may enjoy what they read. I feel like I’m finally getting caught up with myself after all these obstacles I’ve gone through.
With a economy heading in a tale spin, it seems we’re all affected. I may not necessarily pay for rent or auto insurance, but I can say that both school and supplies boggle me down both emotionally and financially.
I mean, in the past three or so weeks, I’ve had to spend around $400-$500 dollars on supplies alone. My beginning painting class being $200-$300 of that amount. We are all having a bad time trying to recuperate during troubling times, but we have to set a game plan to fix what we started.
Everywhere you go, people are carrying more worries- paying rent, mortgage, day care, food, etc.
What do we do? Can we just keep on accumulating credit and build upon that?
I hear on the news sometimes of people killing themselves and their family just to avoid the consequences of bad credit or bankruptcy. What I can’t fathom is how do individuals who are not attending school or limited with time not finding jobs. I mean, in the past four weeks or so, I’ve been offered 3 jobs- the limiting factor for me was training schedule. All jobs were mostly full-time positions.
Sometimes, on Fridays or Saturdays, I see all these restaurants packed with people and waiting times of up to 45 to 60 minutes, and I think, “Jeez, this is a recession?”
I’m making a resolution (my first one) to bring myself up from this financial slump so that I can enjoy my time without worrying about paying bills on time.
I challenge everyone to do the same. Think about your expenses and try to budget how much you go out or how much you spend daily.
