It’s been a while (February or March to be exact) since I’ve written. In that time, so many things have changed. For one, my rooster clock almost died, buy with the help of my father and a soldering gun, it’s now fixed and singing again.
Our newspaper, theminaretonline.com, is now better than ever. On the downside, it’s been two months since my boyfriend and I broke up and I’ve been trying to cope with my daily life. I find myself still missing him after some time and I imagine how things would be if we were still together. It’s a new year and I’m optimistic that things will come together. Either he and I will be together again or someone special will come into my life.
On the flipside, I’m working at a local weekly newspaper and am learning so much about the newspaper business. I hope that my experiences here will take me to he next level. I have a year and a half left till I graduate and I plan on either doing some freelance work or hopefully working in the creative services department at Creative Loafing.
